I know you’ve all seen dragons before. This is one I whipped up in a few hours of doodling from Zspheres. Love how Zbrush just lets you create without thinking about the correct way to do things. This is only the head and I will reveal the body later, if I get around to it

Very nice eggsrgood! I like the sharpness of the edges around the face of the dragon. It makes him look strong and thick. Also I like the eyes. Somehow with that textured you used and with the white eye balls make him look very stylized. Again very nice work!
Keep it up!
Javi.
really pretty render, nice modeling
i like the front profile better than the side view
maybe see an angle of inbetween? to get a better sense of the shape?
Eggsrgood, nice dragon. The skin work is fantastic. Great model.
Just one thing though…I can tell you have used masking to create the teeth. If I am incorrect, please inform me…I understand it is alot easier than sculpting individual teeth and marking them.
But, the teeth still need some work. The rest of the model is fantastic. But the teeth tend to spoil it slightly.
Great Model
i’m with logik, looks nice in the front view but the otherone looks a bit wierd.
can we have a look at it directly from the side?
Hey dudes,
javierloredo, thanks for your comments.
DOn’t ask me why I posted such a weird angle, :o
I’m kind of not happy with the profile yet, it needs something to balance it out. I’m thinking maybe another flap at the back or maybe some more horns. Maybe you guys have some suggestions?
mattybyng, yeah I did use masking for the teeth, definitely needs some work, hoping textures will make it looks a little better.
Here are the views you requested, again, sorry for the strange angle:lol:

your profile problem is: it looks like he’s raising his snout/upperjaw to open his mouth, which seems un-natural, my brain wants to see his lower jaw open. maybe if you lowered the end of his snout and raised his snout (where it meets the eyebrows) you could achieve a more aerodynamic profile. just think of the aerodynamics of a bird, that is required for flight. does this dragon fly?
is that a z-render? if so what material? it looks sweet.
hey thanks Logick, I haven’t decide if the dragon flies yet. Working on a quirky concept at the moment. Your right about the about the snout, will try it out.
The material is based on the Sokar shader. Just tweaked the colours to give more of a creamy white colour and bumped up the cavity intensity a little. Then choose whatever base colour you want to use. It looks even sweeter when used with a nice colour map. Never knew how nice the Z render could be. Wish you could animate turn around, hopefully in the next version.
