Hi,

this is my first post to this great community
and I wanted to introduce myself by sharing the latest work of mine with you guys.

I created this bad boy in Thomas Mahler’s Character Creation Workshop he held in Games College Vienna (Austria).

The Workshop lasted about 2 months (2 units a week) and our main goal was to create a TF2 (Team Fortress) stylized character by using Thomas’ gorgeous pipeline.

I hope you guys like it.

Feedback and crits are more than welcome!

Looks awesome man - love the stylized look :D:+1:

Could you explain what you mean? What is the pipeline. Do you create a basemesh, sculpt, then retopologize? I’ve been waiting to hear about his character creation workshop. I thought he was putting out a video series.

amazing, love the character, and he looks like he could fit in tf2 if there was some sort of yakuza add on.

Great stylization!

Sweet model! The sculpt is nice and clean. What polycount were you held to for this?

Cool design and nice mesh layout! :+1:

Great first post Atilla!

Thrilled to see more great stylized work here. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Yeah man nice stuff!
Only thing i can notice is that the face is maybe to humanlike.
Looks like normal wrinkles almost i think you could stylize it even more.
Body is spot on looks like awesome subd boxmodelling  :+1:
You sure have mastered the flatten brush
Welcome to zbc

Neat! Love the stylized proportion and sculpt style! :+1: :+1:

Well, hereand hereare some details about the workshop and for now i don’t really wanna talk about further details about it without Thomas’ permission.
And as far as this video series is concerned, I bet he is pretty busy at the moment, when you think about on what he is working on at the moment (you can look it up on his homepage), but sooner or later he’ll come across this thread and you could ask him personally.

Without the base = 20.316 tris

I’m seriously thinking about to let this print. If so, then only at Offload Studios. But I guess I’ll just have to work a little more to afford a 12 incher.

In fact after I posted my question I started digging and came across those course descriptions in a PDF format and also went to his site to see any updates (Blizzard Cinematic artist) So I just asked him to see how things were going. Hasn’t replied yet but he’s a busy bee…

But thanks for sharing what you could. I’m really really interested in this pipeline. I guess I have to wait.

Later
