It’s been a while since I’ve posted stuff. Here’s some of my most recent work.
Hello, good Job¡¡¡¡¡ Amaizing ¡¡¡¡¡ I like the treatment you’ve given to the feathers, how did you do that? I am following a tutorial mesh using two identical old subtoools and sculpting in an increasingly creates the illusion of volume and after playing with “MORPH TARGET”, to eliminate overlaps.
thanks

This last one is really nice !

Very nice! I dig your rock and i really like the beard on that guy! The beard and the eyebrows are really clean looking. I kinda wish you would continue the ridged look on his horns all the way along them. Good work though!
quick anatomy update, tweaking the joining area.
I’d like to say the anatomy sculpt is “done” it never truly is, but at some point you need to move on. Other than toning down the wrinkles on the hands and feet (already got pointed out), please, critique away!
Very awesome and interesting!
a 2 hour sculpt
Hey, Xenier.
Just got done looking through your whole sketchbook, and I must say, the amount of progress is great. Very inspiring!
Good luck with future projects, and I look forward to seeing what you post next.
Thank you!
some sunday sculpts from the last two weeks. The axe is from the Darksiders II art book.

That sword looks great man! May I ask what your workflow was for it?
I’ll see if I can cobble together some screens to help illustrate it. Essentially though it’s a low poly in Maya (it could be done with dynamesh and subtracting shapes from it, but I was going for speed, not a dynamesh exercise). I had the concept on an image plane and used the create polygon tool to get the shapes. I divided it into cutting blade, the head of the axe, the handle and then the pommel and imported them into ZBrush. Once there, turned off smooth and divided four of 5 times, then Dynameshed it. From there I went through with the Trim Dynamic and MAH Polish brushed to smooth out the shaped and introduce the chiseled edges to the metal. Dam Standard was used for the scratches. The skull was sculpted with pretty standard means and then the wraps were pretty much all clay tubes that were then smoothed down. not sure if that helps at all, I’ll get some workflow pics up soonish.
