X-Men Prototype...

His looking really good. congrats. Good detail too. Will you model the body or is this just a bust? Either way i think his chest and shoulders are a bit small. Try beef him up a bit. Love the hair so far too. Keep up the good work :+1:

Hi, and thank you for replying guys!

Yari Jindou: thanks

Lil’sister: thanks and your sugestions are right. Usually applying assymetrical atributes to the character is something I leave it to the last moment afterbulding all the details neded.

EvilSmiley: Yeah man, screw dipolmacy, He’s a x-Men is a fighter. Thanks!

vlad74: thank you.

brettSinclair: thanks, I dont know, if I find more time I can model the whole body. Yes the shoulders are at that size to make the head more pronounced, but I can beef him up just a little bit.

A small update for now, I’ve adjusted the lights to make the hair cast shadows. x-Men_02.jpg

Nice and it even has a touch of Morrisey the hermit.:+1:

that is indeed some beautiful work.
i really like the slightly exaggerated features, much better than the movie version IMO…
:+1: :+1:

J.B.

Lookin very nice, the lighting is really good; it makes him look more ‘evil’. The hair is amazing too btw, you are far better at max’s hair then I am  hehe.

Beautifully done,

looking forward to updates.

Hi guys and thank you for the encouragement and the nice words. I’ll post a recent update as soon as I get some free time. Keep viziting my thread!

Hi, I thought it’s time for a new update. I applyed some basic materials to the cloths and paindet them with a very basic colors too!
x-Men_03.jpg

The face is looking great but the body is way too small. He looks like a tiny guy. Add more volume to his chest/shoulders and I’m sure it will help to get it even better :+1:

Keep it coming,
-Kris

yes, he would look more imposing with broader shoulders. I feel that the hair could do with a bit more refinement.
Anyhoo. It looks nice.

Fine work !!!Compliments and looking forward to more!Cal

Hi again and thank you for showing interest to my work.

Antropus: Hi Kris and thanks again for viewing and making sugestions. In fact I wanted the head to be more pronaunced than the body, thats why I made the shoulders smaller. It was just an experiment, Now I see that maybe I should adjust these proportions.

iatriki: thank’s for making sugestions too! Yes, it need’s a lot of work everywre.

calum5ZB: Thank you man!

your work is looking good, cant wait to so it all done. really good.

Its looking great. I think he needs more hair though? Seems like his thinning on top? Will you give him eyes? Well i mean proper eyes. I like where your going with the bomber jacket. If you do a full body :D, I think you should beef him up. hehe. He is of course the beast.

High-class work. Congrats. :+1:

This is really turning out nicely, your version is better =)

This is beatifull.
I have absolutely no idea how you went about creating the hair, i have seen nothing like it in z brush. care to provide instructions?
great detail as well, i love it

Hi, I want ro thank you guys for all youe nice words and the icouragement you give me through your replyies.

threetails: thank’s

brettSinclair: Of course it needs more hair, but I’m keeping the nr of strands as high as I can so the render tests dont get to long to render. I’ll rise the number toard the end of the work. Thanks

Trurl: thank’s man

Jindou: thank you

Manslaughter: Thank you. The hair is created and rendered in max. Maybe I’ll post some wires later.

HAHA. cool. thought i was pointing out the obvious, but thought i’d check anyway. :+1:
