I watched the transpose a dog video and see that you can mask off areas and move the remaining portion.
Is there a one button solution of this to paint on a line and and move it to add detail like that little program called FiberMesh? It’d be cool, for example, to draw a few parallel lines, select one on the right, slide it to left and have the remaining lines cause a series of parallel skin folds…like decreasing height ripples according to the intensity and radius of a pull-type brush. Seems like this would be an easy function to script into the software and would save a bunch of time fiddling with brushes to add the same detail. This would be easy wrinkle creation with user-drawn constraints (the parallel lines) that cause procedural bunching and lifting of geometry in a ridge and furrow pattern.
Just an idea from someone who doesn’t know much about 3D.
maybe try using the snakehook brush with an alpha image of a row of wrinkles
or whatever series of shapes you want
you’ll be able to push and pull using that row
not sure if it is what you wanted to do
cheers
