G’day,
Not sure if anyone can help me with this, but I shall try anyway.
If anyone remembers the old Commodore 64 games by SSi, Pool of Radiance, Secrets of the Silver Blade, etc…
There’s an editor for those types of games, and I use to draw some icons in paint for them, just simple pixel ones.
Now I’ve been trying to add the models in from ZBrush to these tiny pictures.
Anyway the result I want for these tiny icons is a 96x48 icon - http://dhost.info/uatu/dungeoncraft/cm/cm_Skeleton.png
but trying it a few ways I can’t seem to get it to work looking good. Changing the document size down to this tiny size just makes the model look very very bad, and drawing the model up in let’s say a 960x960 document and then resizing it down (using Gimp scaling tool or Liquid Scale) it still turns out terrible.
Anyway so I guess I’m asking if anyone out there does this type of thing, makes tiny icon pictures out of ZBrush models? and If so what is your technique to getting it look good?
Thank you.
