Hi folks,
This is my first post and I am a new ZBrush user.
I have a MacPro with dual, dual core Intel Xeon CPUs (that’s 4 cores) 8 GB mem and 1.33 GHz Bus speed.
I was fiddling around with max mem and max poly count and every time I touched the max poly count I got a warning about possible crashes etc, if I exceeded what the computer could do easily. But this warning always popped up whether I lowered or raised the poly count.
I ran the “test multithreading” utility but that seems to be a separate issue, at least it doesn’t reset to default the max poly count.
So, how do I figure it out? I’m guessing there’s a formula for this but I haven’t found it yet.
