@big guns. Regarding the tutorial- can you make a young attractive male with dark hair? Its just most male creation tutorials have older men with alot of wrinkles. Be nice to see a young male similiar to the beautifulness as this young lady!

I think a little bit of posing will do wonders for the realism. IMHO just a little bit of head rotation and eyes looking to the camera will make her look like a real photo.
As far as I know this model would be rigged hence the pose is neutral and straight

As for the pose, it will be RIGGED so don’t worry about it for now 
For the online course, I plan to do a male, since I consider myself even more a specialist in that field and the goal is to learn anatomy at the same time, so something like a bodybuilder or something like that is the best to understand all the muscles,tendons,connections,veins workflows,volumes,etc etc. The website should be ready soon , it will explain better what I gonna show etc. It’s going to be a Big courses, a complete course, on how to create a character production ready ( for cinematic let’s say) from modeling,sculpting,edgeloop animation friendly, (with my tips along the way on how I create my characters of course) and texturing,shading, lighting, etc.
So here’s an other lighting, What do you think?
And a new necklace… need some displace on the chain and some tweak…not finish what do you think…? Feel to heavy a bit maybe?. I will do the cloth soon I know now wich one I gonna do ^^.

Are you familiar with the story about Michelangelo and the sculpture of Moses? If not, well the legend goes that Michelangelo was so impressed with his work, that he sad to the sculpture “I gave you the body, now LIVE” and he punch him with the hammer to his right knee. You can see the scar actually on the photos too. Well, I have the same feeling about this one, but instead stroke with the hammer, maybe one small slap will do the job.

I agree with others that the ears are the weakest part. Not sure what it is. Maybe they need more specular. Or perhaps more scatter. Or some hint of veins. Maybe all three. They just seem a bit… I don’t know… too soft/smooth/waxy. They’re close though. On any other model, I wouldn’t even comment on it. It’s just that the standard is so high here.
btw. which application will you be using for rendering in the tutorial? Is it 3DS Max + Vray?

I may post a firefram shot later when I’m done with the cloths, but there is nothing special here.
So here’a kind of 3/4 pose, I used the basic rig I have to just move a bit the head ( while she get properly rigged by a firend )
