hey sir.

wauw! she sure has come far. i honestly had a bit mixed feelings about your first version (from last year). but now she just keeps looking better and better.
i really admire your dedication to this project. i just got 2 tiny tiny comments for you.
first one: i think her iris color somehow looks saturated compared to the light and color in the rest of her face.
last thing, i think posing her would take her the last few steps. just a slight head tilt or something. -but since you are still tweaking her geo and maps, i’m sure posing is not your main priority.

keep up the good work. oh! and brown eyes for sure.

edit : Rasmus : For the pose, she will be rigged soon, so I will give a nice pose for sure, now it’s really neutral pose, ready for the rig. For the iris, yes it was too saturated , already fixed.

It’s going to be online lessons not really tutoring. I gonna show how I do my character from A to Z . It’s going ot be 2 sessions of 3 months each because there is a lot of stuff to cover… from anatomy lesson, to sculpting the masses, the high frequency’s, edgeloop, eyeball, teeth,etc and the hairs, texturing, shading lighting,etc.

ok, here’s an update.

I started a REALLY basic cloth just to see how it would fit… and tweaked the ponytails (those floffy hairs are going through the neck… gonna fix it ) I tweaked a bit the lower lip, etc. I need to fix the diffuse in the chest area of course… still little fix to do here and there but it’s getting there.

Nice work. I think adding a rim light can make big difference and about her skin adding a little bit scatter in ears and nose . :wink:

Amazing!

The shirt/blouse looks a little too perfect/CG (I’m sure it’s still WIP), but that’s about it.

Maybe a tiny amount of backlighting/scatter in them ears to make them feel more fleshy and alive.
