Wolverine

Greetings fellas!

I was making my version of my favourite x-men comic character. Wolverine has 12K tris and 2K textures ( difuse, specular and normal ) ready to run in videogames. Hope you like it

Very cool man, I like how you’ve textured him. Makes it looks very nice.

That’s a cool work. Looks very good. Watch for those fingers tho. Looks slim, maybe you can pose them a little differently so it doesn’t look so foreshorten from that angle.

{SeanL}: Well the texture process is a combination of the difuse specular and normal map. To make the look I’ve played with the difuse color a lot, colors, dirt, ilumination. Eventually I made a layer in photoshop mixing a light map texture with the normal map to blend in an overlay layer above the difuse like an AO.

Brilliant Woverine. I do agree with the fingers comment but still looks fantastic.

I work in games and we are only allowed to use 8000 polys for our game but it is a multiplayer. Would love to use 12k :D:+1:

scottleroc: Haha well I think that some gears of war characters have 15K polygon :stuck_out_tongue: . I’ve take some licenses to put more polygon like in the teeth cause is a personal work, nothing else :slight_smile: Thank you!

I just can’t get over those colors. The peach and brown are just not very exciting. He reminds me of the Nite Owl in Watchmen, only worse.
