This is my first modeling work this year. I have used Z Brush for displacement and Texture. My modeling tool is 3Dmax, and rendered through V-ray, He’s name “W.O.R Spawn”. I have worked during 1 month

I don’t mind hearing any critiques from any body.
Please give me some critics on my work.

  • Shade + Displacement

Hi ryan3d, very nicely done anatomy and coloring. 50.

Fantastic character and great render.
His right foot seems funny sticking out of that foot warmer.

Thank you eveyone…

I have a question…
when I used V-ray, I want to use Value. it’s not exactly…

so how can I get the value from Z brush. I want to know the Amount and Shift for Vray. The Image is my guess… would you tell me your case?

Hi Ryan, Excellent work.

About your question. I’m not sure if I’m understanding you correctly but I’m guessing that the value you talk about is the value to apply when using displacement maps. If this is the case, this will depend on your renderer. The value that you use in Vray will be different than a value that you’ll use in Mental Ray. Zbrush does give you a value for displacement maps but this value only works for displacement maps inside Zbrush. You can find this value at the bottom of the Alpha section after you have created a displacement map. This value is called Alpha Depth Factor.

Absolutely awesome, would like to see some chains in there. :+1:

Nice work. But the coloring on the ‘boot’ looks a bit off in coloring, I found this http://www.kultureshock.co.uk/bigimages/spr15.jpg while searching for the character you made. Is this the reference you used or do you have another?

this is another model… you should check the WOG Spawn.

I actually could not find the WOG Spawn, I tried about 20 different action figure sites that carried spawn figures.

This is excellent, the anatomy is very good, i am so impressed  :grimacing: :grimacing: sooooo cooool,…okay i will stop now, and just look in awr

NIce work, Very Nice. But you might want to review Spawn’s attire, it has more white. And chains, but other than those points which only me and those of the comic geek pursuasion would find, it is great. I wish I could remderlike that. I am still stuck on pencil and paper, photoshop is the most advanced I get.

hi RYAN:+1: :+1: this is character very nice.

Wow… That’s wicked. Great job!!!

Hi,

Good modelling, I find the name WOG rather offensive. I am sure that in Korea it means something else, but in the west it has a derogatory heritage - I guess that applies both ways.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! I’m sure it wasn’t meant in the racist context, but considering it is Spawn, and the characters race  It does make for a slightly offensive combination, even if it’s unintentional.

Nice sculpt though by the way. Spawn is a real stylish character, and you’ve definitely done him justice
