Hope everyone had a happy Easter!

Be vewwy vewwy quite im hunting wabbits.
I honestly dig it its awesome!!!
That is beautiful - what did you render the fur in?
Nice. 5 stars
Beautifully done, from the grass up, KrakenCMT! 50.
Awesome! Rufus(Roo) and Poo both agree. They think this is a great bunny but are curious why his ears stand up…
Marvelous ,how did you create that fur!I have a project that requires me to fur a model and would love to know your secrets;) .5*'s

Thanks all! The fur is about 80% ZBrush and 20% Photoshop paintover.
The image itself was rendered in ZB in 2 passes. The first in full color with the light aperture set at about 130 to get some good GI for the objects. Then another pass was rendered with all the materials replaced with a simple gray diffuse material and the light aperture set to 10 to get a rendering to use as an overlay on the first rendering. But this one would have sharper shadows since the aperture is much smaller. That layer was overlayed on the other in PS with the soft light mode to create a more sunny day feel.
Very cute…5 stars
happy Easter to you too bunny.
Thanks for sharing your method on the fur!Your ps painting is very well done !
Look forward to more of your posts, cal
No problem! Also here’s the mat I used for the fur (which I painted over somewhat) and a decent general light setup for getting good fur in ZB. The color of the model drives the color of the fur. Have fun!

Very nice image! The fur is great! It would be nice to give a little example of the zbrush passes with imagery. Not sure how you can create fur in Zbrush just yet.
KrakenCMT,
Loaded your mat and lights and chucked this guy together in about 15 seconds
to test!
Thanks so much!!!
This is the best forum ever!
I’m waiting for some fuzzy dice for my render engine hahaha.

Yeah the model is excellent. Thanks for the fur, but a little walkthrough of how you put it on the rabbit so excellently would be brilliant.
Comin’ right up, Lemo!
Magician, there’s not much to it. I applied color variations to the bunny and adjusted the vertical and horizontal wind parameters as well as the gravity of the fiber to angle the hair down and to the left a little. Then I blurred the hair just slightly to get a softer look. After that it was just some Photoshop painting to add some highlight hair and longer hair and finally some whiskers.

Haha, excellent!

ZBrush Central would not be ZBrush Central without Fuzzy Dice 8))))))).

PS:Now I have to make a chessboard floor with a chrome sphere and we have a cg retro thread going on.
thanks for the reply, but remember in future opposite sides of a die add up to 7! lol.
He probably modeled them after the ones he uses in Las Vegas
