You r on the right track bro, keep up the good work u cud definitely do the best of yours. I like ur works and they are very good with only a 4 month of experience.
Keep posting…
thanks Sagiarts,
I continue my works when I can…
here is my new project(number 34)
I start it friday night, based on a photo of me when I was young during a festival. I want to make it realistic.
C&C please,
[]
here is where I am at the end of the weekend…
I will use Maya to make him with realistic hair but for the moment I have some difficultes with the hands and the head…
[]
hi,
I hadn’t workmore on it since the last time but I have think about him and I’m not sure how I can improve his head.
In fact when I look my first post and the second I think the head was beter before I modifie her.
What do you think??
Before:
[]
I saw a lot of post where people made paintover on others wip to point out some details.
I’m french so I’m sorry for my accent
I think the mouth is the area that needs most attention in terms of the face, it seems a bit off, like the person is crooning a bit; and maybe the eyes are at a bit of an odd angle perhaps, tilted inwards a bit too much ; I think you might be right that it does look better before modified
hopefully thats of some help, maybes someone can pinpoint something more specific =p
new update during the weekend.
I have restart with my first version of the head and I think I have improved it a lot. I also add some subtools.

some new renders,

reminds me of little link from ocarina of time… >_>
You’re right RiVvenGuard.
I didn’t notice that before …
I don’t think there is a link with the real Link
It’s based on one of my costumes when I was young.
it was for a school festival in 1988.
I based my work on an old black and white photo. Maybe I will use Link’s color for the texturing but for now I want to improve his clothes.
C&C appreciate
just a little update on the cloth and some others subtools.
what do you think I can improve?

The red wax material is actually making it a little hard to see what’s going on with his face. Maybe post using basic material? Nice character.
Hi Dealer2Couleurs! Your latest sculpt is definitely a WIP and most certainly no RIP! The piece steadily improved over the last few days ! Great posture!
As for suggestions regarding the cloth: Bridgeman compiled a great overview regarding cloth study-might want to look that up. I attached a pic and circled a few areas where I feel the cloth “acts” a bit unnatural (too wavy, too bulgy) - you have to keep in mind gravity. Might wanna’ set up a live reference to sculpt from.
Keep’ goin - great sculpt ! WIP it man! WIP it good!!!

hi,
my first try on texturing him.
I think I will leave him for the moment and start others projects.
I have to improve myself before to finish him.
Maybe I need to do more little works. like cloth study, detailling, human details anatomy, and texturing.
I have made some test with gimp and gif file.
hope you enjoy.

I decide to pose my paintballer
What do you think of the pose? (see the second image at the end of the post)
I have to work on the left hand and to add a head inside the mask but I think it’s a good base to start detailling

I think you have already pointed out the problem. Maybe the hand should be a fist. The pose is really nice and dynamic especially from the front. Well done mate.
some improvement…
I think the pose is OK, I want to start detailling.
not sure about the left arm,
what do you think?
