I’m new around here and to zBrush, in general. I thought I’d start by posting my first real attempt to a full sculpt. At this point, it’s on final sculpting phase going into low-res phase in Maya with some baking in Substance.
I’m currently in school for this, which is why the process seems rather linear and straight to the point.
The biggest issues I’m having with the sculpting process is at this point I can’t subdivide further to add wrinkles or creases to the sculpt any more due to the computer slowing down drastically. I’m not exactly sure how to approach the decimation since it also destroys the face and details in the process even with the curve guides in place. I still need to SubD this current about 2-3 time to get wrinkle level detail and that gets into the 3-5m vert territory. T. T Any suggestions for future reference would be great.
(I work on a supplied Macbook Pro and, recently thanks to ZB2018, my gaming rig).
