I enjoy this face much more! he has more flare to him that matches his armor. lovely work, that shader is killn it tho, find something else =) keep us updated on the lowpoly work! thast what i love to see the most.
i would agree with stimpack on the material. Beautiful sculpting though. love the designs. did you do all those in zbrush or did you import some alphas from photoshop or illustrator?
KEEPS IT REAL!
90% of it is drawn out from masking, just small part of it it’s from stencil.
thx for the comment!
Very nice work man, I really like the over-all look of him, keep it up.
nevic,
Dang cool guy you got going here, definitely shows the power of masking. Will be interesting to see him finished, will be watching this one to see how he progresses. Keep working hard!!

nice job with the armor. It looks really good. The organic elements seem a little off, especially with the arms. The eyes could use work, and the ears are too thick. Anyway keep it up, I think this will look great when it’s finished.
One odd thing about the armor, I think the lower part should be fabric. There is no way you could do a beliveable walk or run cycle if that part remains it’s thick metal properties. Just a thought. I’m sure you want this character to be as believeable as possible, spending as much time as you have on this.
Looks Good so far… Alots of effort in this model…
Keep on!!! texture it soon… wish to see the final result in the game model!
Interesting costume design; looks like this is going to be a sort of space western game.
Hi, nice work
I tried to create a few hard edges as you described, i’m with you on most of it, using the lazy mouse (100) masks etc, but still my result come out very rough and jagged. Any further tips?
Dave.
basicly when u are doing masking dont make the focal shift of the brush go too high, around the range of 65~75 is fine.if the focal shift is too high it will give u jaggy edge becoz lack of sub-div.
Sub-div also plays an important row, the higer it is the less jaggy when the shapre edge gets inflat out.some of the part i use lvl 8 sub-div.
thx for all the comment guys.
magnificent job. I,m surprised for the many good datails in the armor
Amazing stuff… One of the best armour models ive ever seen. Are you thinking of writing a tutorial? Its some of the best detailing ive seen, and I think a lot of people could benifit from a tutorial by you
