looks cute man~ I like this kind of style
very nice
The smiles and the worry with puffed cheeks are really really nice!
However, the textured version of the puffed cheeks shows that there is a plane/form missing, the upper corner of the eyebrows, the eyebrow ridge still extends quite considerably, and from there recedes and diminishes towards the back of the side plane.
Really hard to explain such visual things
What is bothering me is the head with its hair. The hair looks like a wig. I would recommend trying to mesh the hair with the head a bit more attentively.
This is really Cool! Love the expressions you’ve used there.
cool stuff. YouTube is down right now. Can’t wait to see the animation.

Thank you all. I’m glad that you’r enjoying it.
Litho, about the hair. Sometimes i get that feeling too, but I don’t know what i could do to. I tried to extract the bottom polygons and make an alpha for some hair, but it got kinda weird. Do you have some advice? The lack of references is blocking me…
Top row methinks! :D;)
Here’s some others pics extacted from the animation.
Thank you all. Glad you’r liking it. =D
The animation is nice, danicolaevsky!!
Yeah, for the hair, currently yours is very analytical http://www.romancoins.info/1athen-kyros%20(1).jpg which means that your hair is made in very similar strands, as well as the meshing with the head. What I would try to do is vary up the contact points with the head. Have a patch of strands coming more onto the head, some receding a bit more, maybe one strand going a lot more into, a couple a lot more to the back.
That might help with the meshing. It would help with making the hair less decorative and more something to look at, but I’m not sure about the meshing.
Personally I like the hair as it is, but if you want to change it another suggestion would be to leave the hair geometry “as is” and just “Paint” part of the hair closest to the head with a lighter color so that it appears to blend better with the head.
