scottleroc thanks man it sure is tedious

MontanaMan thank you i still have very much to learn and do better

Twitchingmonkey thanks man.

I first layd down larger strands of the flow of the hair on a lower subdivision
Some go over others some go straight down.
Then i smoothened the strands out and flattened them a bit
and went into a higher subdivision.
Now it was all standard brush lazy mouse and a soft cyrcle alpha
with 24 intensity i think. I tried rake brush first but didnt like it so i pulled
every hair on its own untill i was almost blind.
On the left side of the hair that went fine because the whole line is visible.
The right side was too long and letting go of the stroke gave me visible
marks everywhere so i pulled down all the lines as mask and then gave
them height with a low intensity and a larger stroke.

Finally! an update!!
very good work man!!
one thing : on the profile, the eyes are to straight. They should be tipped up. The upper eyelid should be more in front of the other one. On the whole, the entirety of the eye is too much moved forward.
If you retake that, he will look awesome!!!

indeed thanks a lot man  :+1:

Hi Stu, the hairs came out fine imho. Thanks for the little walkthrough on how you did them :+1: !

Jaaa, ENDLICH ein Update! Wohoo!
Sehr saubere Arbeit (ähm…auf english hört es sich irgendwie besser an oder  ? )
…deshalb: very clean and smooth work! Great style!
I really like the way you did the hair!
No critique.
(Note: But only because you don´t want some!!! …haha  )

I love this Toon-style stuff and you´re doing a great job!
BTW – do you work on your cgCoach entry , too?

Thanks for the tip on the bronze material. I´m a big fan of the movie, but much bigger one of that character, specilly the socipathy in his gestures :(. Creepy…

Great sculpture :+1:.

Using decimation master i was able to render much quiker
in cinema 4d. Rendertime for 200 frames was 25 minutes
and it looks just like in zbrush.

make sure you watch it in hd quality

Waaahhh…that’s great…
I’d like to see a full body sculpt from you.
Are you working on one?

yeah i was thinking about that too.
I just wanted to doodle a bust to get the hang of everything again
but im quite pleased with it. Ill think about it
If i had your lowpoly skills it wouldnt be that much of a problem
maybe ill start something later on.

Hi Stu! That 360° is awesome! All I hear about is YouTube trouble on img quality, file sizes etc, which held me back from linking something to YouTube, and now you are throwing this at us… . :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: Thanks for posting your decimation master experiments!

Thanks etcher.
Youtube has improved a lot in the past months they dont want to loose
their market to vimeo etc.
The movie i uploaded was exported to a flv movie from a tiff sequence
and is only 4 mb large. So upload times are fast and youtube automaticly
makes hd available.

Im in a stress for university and im doing a very quick animation project at the moment. Theme is just music do whatever you want 1 minute long.
Im gonna try and finish this in 3 days
Heres a first walking to the whisteling part animation
Basemesh simple zspheres landmarks with polypaint and texture
in photoshop. Really trying to keep it very simple to get it done in
a good manor in this short time
