ZBrush Usage Questions

i recently tried to use zbrush 3.5 on windows 7 and this IS really terrible
the speed of rotations in zbrush r completely slower than xp .brushes r slower every thing is slower
actually in xp every thing move smoothly but in 7 everything move like with a lot of bugs i dont kno:cry:
here’s my system :
cpu : intel 4core i7
ram : 6 Gigabyte
motherboard : p6t
graphic card : 1 Gig ATI 4870
what’s the solution ?
please help me this is very important for me:cry:

and i tried this thing in 2 places ( my work place and my home ) with two different windowses and both of them had same problem

no idea what the problem is, but i work on W7 with a nearly similar setup (my CPU is only a quad core) and have no problems at all. everything is smooth as butter, like always.

as a frame of reference, the character I’m working on right now is about 42 million polys with about 37 subtools.

thank u eldee.s but i think maybe u didn’t try zbrush in xp maybe
its really really different …
one more thing … i used wacom intus4 in both places … isn’t it ?

Actually, I’ve been using ZBrush since version 2… long before windows 7 or even vista came out. If there’s any difference in stability- it’s that it is MORE stable under w7.

What I’m saying is- the problem is on your end. get your system checked out, you might have bad ram or a failing hard drive.
