Windows 7 64-bit. Anything I should know?

Just upgraded from 32 bit to 64 bit, Windows 7. Is there anything particular I should know about using ZBrush in the 64 bit environment (ie, special settings for memory use, etc)?

I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

pretty simple.
rock it :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, if you have the ram crank the ram settings, other than that, work as usual.

Nothing much. A 64-bit version of Windows will let ZBrush use up to 4 GB of RAM rather than the 2 GB that a 32-bit OS limits it to. So you can set Preferences>Compact Mem to as much as 4 GB. (If you have 4 GB or less RAM, then set it to 1 GB less than your system RAM.)

Also, on Windows Vista or Windows 7 you need to set ZBrush to run as administrator. This is done by right-clicking on the ZBrush executable, choosing Properties and going to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom of that tab is the check box to run as admin. That is the ONLY thing that should be turned on on that tab. Click Apply, then close the window. ZBrush should then run fine.
