Windowed mode?

Hey here fellow sculpters!

I am wondering if there is any way to use Zbrush in windowed mode, and not full-screen. I would like to see my taskbar on the bottom of the screen while working within Zbrush. I tried with rearranging everything as I want it, and save as startup document, as someone told me might work. But it was still fullscreen when I started it the next time.

If I recall right, it worked on earlier version, just by pressing the bottom “flip-bar” inside zbrush, and the zbrush window would reduce itself so that the windows-taskbar came forth visible. It does not work anymore, however.

Press the Resize button in the top right of the screen. Move the ZBrush window to the upper left corner of your screen, then use the bottom right corner of the window to drag it to the size you want. Now press Cntrl+Shift+I to save.

Oh, there we go. Thanks, I am so relieved. This have been sratching my mind the latest days.

With me, that only works for a little while then, on it’s own, will go back to full screen. I just gave up and left it the way it is.

Noticed that just now as well. It went back to full screen.

Is there anyone that know a “permanent” fix for this?

This was a very helpful tip I didn’t like for ZBrush to be in full screen mode either as I like to see what happens in my taskbar but I couldn’t figure out how to get the rescale fixed for the next start up.
Thank you for this information.
