Window size derp please help I cant work untill this is fixed.

So heres the stroy and I really dont understant how there is no information on the net about this as i cant imagine im the only one.

Crutial info. Im running a 3 monitor setup and by 3 I mean 2 plus a cintiq 13 hd. I have a 24", a 28" and the cintiq all running at 1920x1080.

Problem 1 - Basically i just cannot stop ZBrush from opening on my main display with is the 28".
Problem 2 - When I drag zbrush from my main monitor to the cintiq and maximize I start crying because it makes me so mad that I want to puch a deer face. EVERYHTING GOES SOUTH and the window gets cut off. Buttons not visible and everything.

So basically how do I make it start up on my cintiq when I launch it and at the correct resolution so ZBrush doesnt go full retard and cut off things that I need? please help I can still use zbrush by using my cintiq to act as a tablet but then what is the point of heaving a cintiq if i cant draw directly onto the screen. I NEED this to get fixed guys so plase help. I literally joined the forums just to get this sorted because there seems to be jack **** about this on the net.

Are you using Windows or Mac?

Oh and post a screenshot of Zbrush getting cutoff on the Cintiq. I’d like to see exactly where it’s getting cut off. I know that Zbrush gets cutoff on the older 12" cintiq but I thought the newer 13HD should be fine.

Windows 8.1 pro

im so seriously sorry guys for being anoying but im new to forums and stuff as well as to zbrush

Windows is scaling down that resolution on your small one. It is a “feature” of windows 8. It assumes you want bigger text because it assumes you have a touch device hooked up. I had the same issue, I don’t remember where to change it, but it is a windows setting.
You can test this by moving any application over there. Also if you move a browser window it auto scales up the text to like 150% as well.
Fun fact, you can watch it scale it on the fly. Once the active window makes it over 50% to another screen it will resize it, either up or down depending on which one you just moved it to.
I also ripped my hair out for a good 4 hours or so.

THANK YOU! I found it. Win8 strikes again. Darn you Microsoft!

You’re not annoying. Annoying is not listening to advice or repeating things already said and being whiny. Your posts are just normal for a new user asking for help.

Posting information like the operating system and screenshots can help pinpoint the problem much quicker. In your case it’s a Windows issue. Glad to hear you got it worked out. Happy Zbrushing!
