William Saroyan, American-Armanian novelist and writer, awarded pulitzer for Drama in 1940 and winner of various other awards. This sculpt was commissioned for 3d print, but unfortunately the client decided he should just disappear rather than pay (word of warning on that below the images). Otherwise this was an enjoyable piece to work on.
For all artists out there doing likeness sculpts; if you get approached by a certain Hayk Grig (haykgrig44 @ gmail) : he is approaching artists all over the web (via sketchfab, cgsociety, etc) to do likeness sculpts without any intent to pay for the work. He will have you upload work to sketchfab - like with all online 3d viewers, 3d models can be extracted using the right software - or send you some progress model for inspection, and then vanish without a trace once he is content. So I recommend not doing business with this person).
Regardless, I hope there are people out there who can enjoy this piece! I do believe Saroyan was an impressive man!
