Hi All,

Have been lurking on central for soo long and finally have made something worthy to post. (atleast I think so)
All modeling and surfacing done in Zbrush.
Xgen for hair and arnold for rendering.

Everything hand sculpted in HD geometry.

Hope you guys like it

Thanks

Looks nice

William Defoe would be happy with your take, you made him look younger
Overall this is a great piece, considering the fact it’s all hand sculpted.

Hey

Thanks Buddha_Arts

Thanks Jamie - yeah most of my references were from a photoshoot he had done a while back. Plus yeah he has turned out a little younger.

Just started with ZB coming from other DCC tools but it’s truly exciting to see so detailed characters made with this tool…

…And yes, this looks like a very nice representation of a young and undestroyed Willem… probably before he made it into the movie industry? The Willem i see in my head when i hear the name would have a look of a rough barfight and too many drinks.

Cheers

yow!! it looks incredible, I really like it. May I ask you what is the software you used to texture it? I have a portrait done and I would like to go forward with it. It is the next below, tell me what you think;

Amazing! Looking really good. I like the skin details.

Hey Angel,

Sorry for responding so late…you probably have already textured King James by now.
But just so you know…I did all the txturing for my model in zbrush itself through polypainting.
If you use HD geo or have enough topology zbrush is pretty good for texturing. Also all the textures were painted by hand and not projected.
Hoppe this helps
