Wow!! Superb … i love this Blondie!! :+1:

The scanned heads came out nice dude, and the rest of the items are well put together, great job on fusing scan and sculpts together.:):+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

amazing is a little word to Describe your works, very inspiring man:+1:

Just Incredible! You my friend have incredible talent! Setting the bar and pushing the limits of the newest technologies of this profession. Just in Awe of your work!

Dude, this is insane. I’m shell shocked after looking at these images. I’d like to think I can reverse engineer a lot of how you did it in my head but it makes me dizzy trying to take it all in so I won’t even bother! Amazing work. Not hyperbolic forum fawning, either. This is damned brilliant, Will.

Epic.

Will the fringes and ends of some of the straps need to be thickened when you guys go to print?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! This is the only CG community I visit everyday, mainly because of the supportive atmosphere. Sometimes it feels like I work in a cave, and ZBC is my only contact with the outside world. It really means a lot to get such nice feedback.

I’ve included another render of Blondie, as well as an exploded view. Some people were curious about how she was cut apart for production. I think she came in at about 25 pieces total. This was necessary in order to make parts that can be easily molded and produced. The pieces fit together with keys.

Thanks again for looking.

This is truly balanced! I am really glad you made it as a 3D printable model because I was thinking to myself that this would be the coolest statue!

Congrats! She’s a beauty! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Looks fantastic Will!

Killer sculpt man:+1:

Beautiful! :+1: Life-sized 3d print worthy!

Madness. Just right click save. Her face is beautiful.

Cool, thanks for updating :sunglasses: :+1: ! This one and the ones Brandon did are just “Gimmegimme!”
If you don’t mind me asking: how’s the quality of the head scans when you get them? Do they need a lot of cleanup inside ZBrush? (i remember Rick Baker doing this

sculpt based on a scan of Guillermo’s face that was at the limit of being a useless mess).
Also, do the scans have eyes closed? Would love to see some before and after shots (pretty please…)

Anyways, giving new meaning to the word eyecandy  .

just perfect :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: top ROW!! real craftmanship

Awesome work man!
If you dont mind, what did you use to cut and key the female?

They need to make a whole 'nother row above top row for this one

Love the exploded view. Magics? I do all my splitting in FreeForm. I’m demo-ing magics now, though. Do you build the keys in Maya and boolean out in Magics?
With FF I can do it all in one pass but it’s challenging to keep the detail from ZB when you re-voxellize into FF…but doable. The good thing about FF is that it can use as much RAM as you can throw at it so with a powerful enough rig, it works well. Wasn’t an issue until ZB’s decimation master turned out to be so amazing and reduced parts began to be able to hold a lot more detail than other apps decimation algorithm’s allowed for. The cool thing about FF, too is that I can cut and past stuff together very quickly without remeshing, etc but lose out when it comes to using maps for details as voxels don’t support UV’s, etc.

Top row, please. Outstanding.

really cool man! i think that the model is perfect and i like so mutch detailing…

can i ask you a tip how can modeling the zip?
