Hey guys, as many you are aware of the exploding mesh issue. I have never encountered it untill recently since I figured out how to do things properly. Right now I have a model with subtools, I exported them all out at the lowest level and UVed them in Maya and brought them back into Zbrush. I had an issue with the body.obj so I worked on it for awhile and can’t figure it out.
If I export the body and reimport it directly back in the object will not explode. But if I import it into maya and then export it back out, then bring it into Zbrush it will explode. So basically something is causing the body to react differently than any of the other mesh parts. I have Mrg On and GRP off and I know none of the vertex info changed since I didn’t touch anything yet.
Just curious if others had found a solution for this. I might try the Zbrush3.0 that I read about somewhere. (Supposedly it works better)
