Why is everything dark?

I’m a very new user to Zbrush, and while working on a project, I think I must’ve hit a hotkey that caused everything to darken. My model/tool has become a silhouette, and it’s impossible to work on.

I’m sure that it’s something very obvious that I did wrong, but I just can’t seem to find an answer anywhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Turn Edit off and make sure Rgb Intensity and Z Intensity sliders are set to 100 then turn Edit back on.

You might have hit V, which causes the color swatches to swap (which by default will make black the active color of the mesh). Just tap it again or set the secondary swatch to White as well.
