I’ve modeled and polypainted my character and now I want to use a lightcap for lighting. However, after I create a lightcap and start creating lights they will not affect the polypaint info. I tried making a texture map from polypaint also and that won’t be affected by the lightcap either. If I turn off both polypaint and texture info to get the model down to just the base matcap of SkinShade4 I can see the lightcap affecting it.
I tried bpr render and the light definitely isn’t affecting the polypaint or textures on render either. Am I missing something? I can’t image that a lightcap wouldn’t work for polypaint or texture information.
I’m running ZBrush 4r4 on a 2.93 quadcore mac with 12 gigs of ram and an ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024mb. I have noticed some other display issues with my graphics card and this version of Zbrush so I’m wondering if that is the culprit. I’d love to port Zbrush over to my PC, but I’m not ready to buy a 2nd copy of the program…
