why do i get this when?

Hey guys
When i load this tool in i press t then scale so i can work,now in the background you can see the modle also when i render it it goes away, but its annoying just sitting there any ideas why it does this thanks in advanve

Also i tried it on a previous version and it does not do this anyway not a major concern just an annoyence

You probably hit Shift+S which snapshotted the model to the canvas. Ctrl+N to clear the canvas. Also under the Document menu.
