Why do 3ds Max obj's import jumbled...?

I create some polys inside of Max and export them as obj’s…when I import them into Zbrush they come onto the stage all jumbled and screwed up.
To get around this I open the obj’s in UVMapper and then save them again. Now when I import them into Zbrush they come onto the stage as they should.

Why do they import from Max all jumbled…is there a way around this???

What are you export setting in 3DMax?
