ZBrushCentral

Where to start?

or restart, i suppose… I’ve been very on and off with zbrush for a few years. never really more then a month or so at a time. I would really like to get back into it though and try to stick with it. Only problem is i’m terrible at staying motivated and focused on really learning the app…

sooooo… if anyone can point me to any especially good tutorials/videos/resources for learning most of zbrush’s features i would greatly appreciate it! oh and the more hand-holding or step by step sort of things the better (i seem to have better luck staying focused with those)

i have looked through pixologics start up pdf and while it has some nice stuff, most of the little guides in there dont seem to be much more then a little feature highlight

Hey man I’ve had the same problem but mainly because of school, and all the work I have to do around the house and at work and recently I have found the tutorials on the Gnomon website to be very fun, especially the 3d character design volume 1 series by scott patton. What I did was sculpt while watching the tutorial on my other monitor as a reference. I would just advise maybe looking up tutorials, forum, and others softwares that might make your digital life easier. Hope that helps a little.

ah ya, i had found a couple decent gnomon videos a while back, i’ll have to see if i still have those. never did find anything that really kept me interested though
