Can anyone recommend where I can find brushes for a stone wall (as in medeival castle), brick walls (as in old 19th century buildings) and thatched roofs?

Be sure to check your Lightbox > Brushes folder for additional brushes that come with ZBrush. Theres a Stone Wall brush in Brushes> Patterns.
While custom brushes may be available from other users and commercial resources, The ZBrush Library has a lot of stone/brick alphas and texture for you to create your own brushes with.
