has anything changed since the zbrush 4 release? That is projecting with arbitrary meshes? Or is it the same deal still with projecting detail onto a new mesh then rendering?

ehhhhhh… it’s seems as if they’ve kinda screwed game devs on this one and overlooked a huge workflow technique. I support those wanting zmapper back. Projecting geometry is buggy, I’d like to just project the maps, and the low rez cage I bring into zbrush to sculpt with isn’t suited for the final ingame mesh that the normals need to be projected onto.
of course, I’ve now modeled in 4.0 and can’t take it back into 3.1
checking out xnormal now, but really, would it kill zbrush to include zmapper?
