I just downloaded 2018 and I don’t see the Live Booleans button that was in the upper left side of the UI like in previous versions.
That’s odd, I can see it on mine in the same position as it was in 4r8.
Could you show a screen shot of your entire UI? Don’t trim the title bar off the top.

Do you have it set to one of the legacy layouts? I don’t think I was missing Live Booleans, but I was missing the Sculptris Pro / Dynamic Size buttons when I started to cycle through the user layouts and couldn’t seem to cycle back (I had to restart Zbrush, then save the default UI as a file).
See if you have the button under Render: Render Booleans: Live Boolean
