where is a good book on zbrush?

could someone point me to a good book on the latest or semi latest version of zbrush

thanks, Bill

At this point, I don’t believe that there are any 3rd party books about ZBrush. However, the manual should have been included with your download. If it’s not, then you can also get it here.

This is the best place to learn about Z-brush. Fantastic support.

I used the QuickLinks to learn most of what I know about ZBrush
plus lots of hours and sleepless nights
!!!

BillG, I agree tha the forum is the best way to learn and like DeeVee says the quicklink are very important. I have design a very simple program in Access that contains all the tutorials from quicklinks
and 1.55b tutorials
You just open the program an have all the categories in alfabetical orders WITHOUT modifications. This is an example of the access page with ZB tut.

BillG this have been a more easy way to me to learn and to know what have been studied in the forum. Many time I dont know some technique that are very very didactic in the Quiclinks but I did not know that where there. At least to me is functionally.
If you are interested please let me know.
Thanks for your atention

andre,
im not sure if you can, but if you can,
well you share your access pages with us
please

Sure Dr.jjiwow let me know if it work.
ZBRUSH tutorials.zip
in a second advance i will put the 1.55b tutorials.
I hope this could help something.
thanks for your attention

Dr.jjwow: Im making two forms one with all categories and another with the more frequent one.
I use the flow chart of the Palette Interaction to have a didactic guide. The image from the PALETTE INTERACTION in the forms from the access program can work putting bottom in each categories

121 Welcome.
ps:did you downloaded?

andre i downloaded your zip what file type is that .mdb and how to use it?

It’s a database. You should be able to open it in Microsoft Access (other programs can open that file too but I am unsure what they are)

Gary the software is Microsoft Access its within M.Office. When you open the file you have two tables 1)T-Categorias and 2)T-Temas
1)T-Categories

2)T-Temas

121 Welcome

This file could be exported as a .txt file that could be read into a just about any spreadsheet program.

The Access file is very nice. I’d like to submit a quick search function for your use.

To add it:<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>open ZBrush.mdb in MS Access (extracted - this will not work if you are running it from within the .zip file)<LI>select “queries” from the “objects” section on the left.
<LI>click “new”
<LI>make sure “design view” is selected, and click “okay”.
<LI>hit the “close” button without selecting any tables to show.
<LI>the first button in your toolbar should say “SQL” now. Press that.
<LI>Replace “SELECT;” with the following:

<LI>close this window.
<LI>answer “yes” (you do want to save the changes to this query).
<LI>name it “search”.
To use:<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>Double-click “search”.
<LI>Type in what you’re looking for.
<LI>The results are all hyperlinks, so click one to open in your web browser.
Keep in mind, this only searches subject titles, not the actual body text of a post or it’s responses. That material is not part of this database, and can not be easily added. :frowning:

WOW! Thanks everyone for all the info :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks for that info
