When to use Dynames

As per title. Are we supposed to always turn on Dynamesh after Make Polymesh 3D?
More specifically, when do we use Dynamesh?

The only benefit about dynamesh seems to be that when you turn it on, the overall shape of the mesh holds up much better and doesn’t change shape that much when you Smooth the mesh etc.

take a sphere, pull out some arms, legs and stuff. see how far you can go like that.
that’s when you will realize when to use dynamesh.
turn on the poly frame so you can see what the polys look while you work. it will become clear to you.

short answer: you dynamesh when you need clean geometry to continue to work.

I see, tks!

Btw, I tried to stress test zBrush just now to see how many polygons can zRemesher take.
I had this mesh with 18 million polys and I tried zRemesher but it gave this pop-up dialog box about not able to open some file.
I checked online and see that this is a memory-related issue.

So, for you guys who are much more experienced with zBrusher, what’s the limit of zRemesher before it gives an error?

Tks!
