What's the secret of TPoseMesh? [Answered]

I have one model with multiple subtools and I want to pose it in Modo which rig control system is more convenient to me than transpose. So I use transpose Master to bake a TPoseMesh for it and then goz this TPoseMesh rom Zbrush to Modo, rig it then pose it and freeze it and then I goz it back to Zbrush.
So when I want to convert the TPoseMesh back to Subtools, Zbrush juse told me that pls select TPoseMesh.

So what’s the secret of TPoseMesh? Can I reconstruct one mesh to its original TPoseMesh?

Transpose Master needs to keep track of which mesh is which in order to work. If, for example, GoZ is creating a new mesh when going back into ZBrush then that would explain the problem. Do you have two ZTLs in the Tool palette with the same name, beginning “TPose…” ?

You should be able to solve the problem by:

  1. Exporting the posed ZTL (that you got from Modo) as a GoZ file (press Tool>Export and select GoZ Complete Binary from the file type drop down list).
  2. Selecting the correct TPoseMesh in the Tool palette, or creating a new one, then importing the file you exported at (1).

You should then be able to transfer the pose correctly.

HTH,

Hi marcus, yes it works! Seems select the proper TPoseMesh first then import back the goz file is the point. Many thanks and it really helps!!!
