What is the number of the Manual Page
for “Copy” an object when you are moving the Gyro ? (a short Cut?)
I don’t find it !
(maybe I have not enough searched
Pilou

Shift-S?

You want the Quick reference guide: Shortcuts

Hi Bone
I am thinking about CTRL when you use the Gyro !
:large_orange_diamond: take an object 3D
:large_orange_diamond: W or E or R
:large_orange_diamond: Press Ctrl
:large_orange_diamond: use the Gyro (Ctrl still pressed)
:large_orange_diamond: now at each Clic & Drag on the Gyro(Ctrl still pressed) an object is copied !
I suppose that is the same than Shift + S (no it’s not a real copy just a snapshot)
but it’s more practical : just one key and you can “marked” it
But I don’t yet find that in the Manual or in the Quick Guide

Ps (maybe I have not enough searched

If Snapshot is not what you’re looking for, then you may be getting the Drag Dots stroke confused with a keyboard shortcut. Drag Dots lets you click to draw the object and then drag it into the position that you want before releasing the mouse (handy for making strands of pearls, chains, etc.).

In the manual the Index is missing :frowning:

There is no index in the PDF because there are bookmarks, and also with a PDF you can press Ctrl+F to search for any word. This is much more comprehensive than any index could hope to be.

Hi Aurick,
as always i can’t be able to explain my thinking…
I’m speaking about a printed copy of PDF.
When i read it at home (often in W.C. :eek
i have some problem to search some topic. But it’s only an hint for the next manual.
Thank You Aurick and Pixologic for your work.

p.s. take a look on my new script. I’m glad to ear your opinion.

Yes Aurick drag plot is an elegant solution for put an object in a precise position
but this one must be yet in the good roatation !
In the beginning of the Gary tut wheel’s bike objects are copied(?) during the gyro mode
so I wanted to know how he has making that
Pilou

He was just using Snapshot. Shift+S. This creates a copy of the model at its present location while leaving the original in whatever Transform mode you currently happen to be in.

Yes I see that in reloading the scrript with a slow delay
It’s a very strong technic
As all is marked at the end the Multimarker recall the total of object
Just re positionned with the MM
Maybe more easy than my method
Well done Gary
