Sometimes I get a blank space around my zbrush window. How do I make this go away?

You get this when your Document size is significantly smaller than the screen real estate available to you.
You can change this by setting a larger size in the Document menu and changing the Width and Height sliders. Don’t make this size any larger than you need it to be though, as it can slow down your machine. Best thing to do is to press the ‘Wsize’ option button, followed by ‘New Document’. This will scale the document settings as large as the space that’s available to you.
