what is impotent line drawing or anatomy.

Hi, Floks,
How are you.
just got a query for you guys, I am a bit confused here.

I started following Ryan’s Anatomy classes and learnt preety good, but now when i have started drawing practice. I am confused on this level. my confusion is " In which direction I should go for, hard core realistic anatomy study or pose and line drawing study."

these days I have been practicing line drawing and prespactive on this level. and I work as a modeler and texturing artist.

kindly suggest in which direction I should go for. or i should continue doing line drawing stuff.

Thanks: Neeraj Pandey

Both. Anatomy is always useful and so is line drawing and posing. Both will be very beneficial in your future work. If you have to decide on one over the other due to time constraints then go with the one you’re not as good in. Then come back and do the other.

Impotent? Anatomy most likely. Ooohhhh, you mean important!

Edit: I’m not making fun of you by the way. That typo was just too awesome to ignore hehe. Yeah I know, I’m childish sometimes. :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks @MentalFrog.

@Zeddicus : OMG you noticed it, my fault buddy, I was in hurry that time. No issues.

I’d advise to do both too, you can’t really do one without the other.
work as quickly as you can, from life, and attempt to do four drawings in the time it normally takes to do one. first drawing line and pose, second anatomy, third line and pose, by the time you get to the last you might find the two approaches are working together… that’s what I’d always aim for…
