What is ClayPolish's Minimum Curvature Ratio? Answered.

ClayPolis has Minimum curvature Ratio slider.
What is it?
ZBrush4R2 document PDF doesn’t explain about it at page 50.

Where exactly is this slider?

[edit] Nevermind, I found it. I thought you were referring to the ClayPolish brush, DOH!. Yes, they definately missed that one in the documentation.

These values represent the minimum and maximum angle formed by two adjacent polygons.

The maximum angle represents ‘Degrees’ (1 to 90 degrees) while the Min value represents percentage (0 to 100%).

Any angle that is larger than the Max value will be considered as a ‘sharp transition’. Any angle that is less than the Min value will be considered as a smooth transition.

Example…
If the Max value is 45 and the min value is 10% means that…

1. Any angle formed by two adjacent faces which exceeds 45 degrees will be considered ‘sharp’.
2. Min value of 10 means 10% of the Max angle value which - in this case - is 10% of 45 degrees. Therefore any angle that is smaller than 4.5 degrees will be considered ‘smooth’.
