What if I don’t want to Zsketch onto a subtool?

What if want to just have a subtool on with transparent on.

Say you are following along on the ZBrush_3.5_tutorials.pdf trying to make a skull. You want to have a reference of a skull as you are Zsketching. Only problem is if you have a plane x, the Zsketch lines will stick to it making it rather awkward. (same goes with any image plane or 3d object)

Is there any clever methods out there of selectively picking what the Zsketch tool can interact with. Any scripts out there that might help?

Try using the armature brush to get the first few strokes down (aka the outline) and then from there draw with the other brushes.

Also to be honest it is probably better to just start with a cube and do the skull from there.
