What happened to the tools/objects from past versions of ZBrush? (Resolved)

I’m working through Eric Keller’s INTRODUCING ZBRUSH book and am at the point where I am supposed to load the Cylinder3D object, but it is not under the Tool Palette. Where did all of the tools that used to be included go? It would be nice if that stuff were still included so that each new version of ZBrush were compatible with older training materials. Any help/information will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance - Mike

P.S. I was told (over the phone w/ Pixologic) that I would need to uninstall 3.5r2 in order to install r3. Am I able to have any other versions installed at the same time? I mainly just want to get any missing objects/materials/textures etc…

Click on the active tool preview window. That brings up the complete tool list, and all the primitives are there.

You can run Zb 3.5 alongside ZB 3.1 (and 2.0 for that matter), but you can only have one version of 3.5 active (not that theres any reason why you’d want to have r1 or r2…R3 is the definitive version of 3.5).

Doh - thanks for the speedy sanity saver lol I don’t know how I missed that. I’ve owned ZBrush forever, but have major A.D.D. when it comes to my family, playing guitar, and messing with 3D - coupled with my job in the Navy. Anyway, I VERY glad you pointed that out for me. Thank you again!!!
