What do you expect from a next update?

I wish…Retopo a Highpolymesh to a low/mid polymesh
This should happen as automatic as possible.
Something like " Press here to transform your High poly mesh in Lowpoly mesh animated with edge loops"
I know there is no “all-in-wonder” solution of this sophisticated task, but any something like is really appreciated! :smiley:

Retopology is really boring work… but imagine something like…

Press the button retopology

" set all holes in your mesh"
“set all places you like to edge loops”
" press for preview your low/mid mesh result"

and magic happens :smiley:

perhaps if they add a tool where you DRAW the new topology on it, like Topogun ?

or a tool that TRIES to retop the model as best as possible, and then enables you to just move the points around.

the retop feature is really buggy and old - imo it’s just not the pixologic way - it’s still too “technical”…

I really DO hope they fix this in Z4 !!

a good thing could be to be able to have some sort of quadrangulation tool as in 3d coat, but, wirh possibility to give some topology guideline, for example with lines around circled areas wich require concentric lines (eyes, ears, mouth…) and othe guidelines specifying the flow polygons have to follow. but this could perhaps be to complex.
3d coat has a really comprehensive toolset for retpo from what i see in vids, btw.:slight_smile:
