What could cause this issue?

I made a clean retopo of a highpoly sculpt and tried to project all the details in the subtool palette. Everything worked out quite nicely, but in some areas the model kind of exploded. See picture.

I have checked my retopo for failures, but couldn’t find any. It’s all quads, no lose verts, no non manifold edges etc.

projection distance is set to high.

have you tried the settings to the right and bottom of the project all button it works better if you think of the target as a vacuum form over the mesh with the detail(at-least when the target is from remeshing.). [youtubehd]zstQsU56zsg&hd[/youtubehd]

Thanks, maybe my workflow wasn’t right. I will try it like in the video and see if I can get my model fixed. I’ll report here when done!
