What comes next after modeling?

Hi

I am a beginner and what’s next step after I finish moldeing? Am I going to UV? Displacement or texturing? I am so confused about these terms. I want to make a realistic model. Am I going to use Maya or photoshop to create such target? Thank you:D

It really depends on what your ultimate goal is.

If you’re just creating an illustration, you can render directly in ZBrush. If so, then there’s no need of UV’s or anything like that.

If you’re wanting to animate, or if you have a specific reason why you want to render in another app, then you’ll need UV’s before you can export color, displacement or normal maps.

UV’s can be created automatically in ZBrush or they can be laid out by hand in another app and then imported into ZBrush.
