What are the best resources for learning Zbrush?

There is ALOT of completely amazing work here and eventually I would like to contribute. My question is, where did you guys learn how to get really good at Zbrush? I was considering buying a few dvds from digital tutors to help me out (namely the ones on caricatures) but I wanted to ask around first.

Did you guys start by really mastering sculpting first and anatomy? Did you teach yourself Zbrush, or use some DVDs?

Just wondering how you personally started out and got good. Thanks.

I wouldnt profess myself as “really” good at Zbrush like some very tallented people on here, but i learnt alot of things the hard way.

Zbrush is a tool, much like a pencil or a paint brush. While skills develop with the use of the tools, in the long term its the skill as a artest that makes a good zbrush peice.

Anatomy, basic form gesture is where a good modle starts from, not detail of the skin, thats the polish on a fine base.

I personaly recomend these.

Books.

Anatomy for Artest by Elliot Goldfinger.
