OS? ZBrush version? Other related info, Error Dialog box if shown.

can upload the brush so i can take a look how is it polygrouped?

Win7, latest version of brush? no error dialogImm problem2.jpg

Should curve step be set to 1? There is a gap between meshes, right?

Nothing changes when I decrease curve step.
What do you mean-gap? Visually it is a single mesh but when I try to smooth it becomes different meshes.

I don’t believe you mentioned smoothing before in your post. I’ve seen things spread apart while smoothing before, not sure how to prevent it unless it’s one mesh.

So I can’t weld points?

Sorry i can´t reproduce this error

I’ll upload my brush

This is how it works in my system. I didn´t touch any parameter.

I saw your IMM mesh and i think this will not work as the polygroups are separate meshes. So Zbrush will repeat the central mesh part but not welding.
Unfortunally trying to make your same kind of laze brush i noticed that IMM welding is not working properly. I will post a new thread about it explaining what happens in my brush all done in a same mesh.

Thank’s anyway.
Before I made a brush like this but not “three parts”(only plane)
And it is welded ok.

I think that plane can’t be a part of IMM brush that is why it doesn’t weld correctly.
The cube works ok.I use one mesh as well as different meshes and get a welded curve.
So IMM brushes don’t work with planes for some reason.
