I am having this weird problem with brush strength across the axis. I use the brush to give the required detail on on side but the same stroke never gets across the axis properly. The stroke is either undetected at places or really sharp. Can anyone help me with this problem?
It sounds as though your model is no longer perfectly symmetrical. You could try using Smart Resym to restore the symmetry.
I lost the symmetry in my model at a very early stage (at subdivision 2), where the center of model went offset and corrected it, by clicking “s.pivot” under transform. After that it was working fine, but just recently it started this problem of brush pressure.
