weird screen draw

Something weird happens;
I’m resizing my document size to an equal size, say 512 by 512. Then, if I draw an object on the screen, in this case a ‘ring’, a black or colored square appears around it, and if I move my brush over the screen a square blotchy pattern follows… It only happens when I switch off ‘Constrain Proportions’. What’s that all about?! :confused:

This is a known issue in 3.12 and will be fixed in an update. For now, do not turn Document>Pro off before resizing the canvas.

  1. turn pro off
  2. resize the document to 1024x1024 or whatever you like
  3. press the half button
  4. press the double button
  5. drag a 3d object on the work area
  6. press T (edit mode)
  7. press T (exit edit mode)
  8. clear the work area

now you can use 2d brushes and 3d meshes
