Ok so heres the setup.
I have quite a few subtools so I hid them all but the layer I was working on.(1.7 Mil polys)
I made sure nothing was masked and dropped into projection master.
From Projection master I made a straight line with the line stroke.
I made a few copies by going to move, then using Shift+S for snapshot of that stroke and positioning the copies as needed.
After a few strokes I clicked projection master again to go back to my 3D sculpting and the app closed suddenly. I did not get an error, just immediately closed down.
I launched zbrush again and had the same problem a few times.
Now here is my workaround and how I kept Z brush from crashing.
I did everything exactly the same, but instead of clicking move and duplicating my line, I simply skipped going to the move gyro and performing a snapshot. Instead I just drew the lines over and over and hoped they were in the right place. Regardless, I was able to use projection master successfully and returned to my sculpt with no problems.
I wanted to report this bug to the Pixologic crew and see if they can deduct anything from my workaround to fix it.
I also wanted to provide a workaround for anyone else who may have had this problem.
Side note: I am running a dual core Intel P4 at 3.2 GHz and have 4 GIGs DDR2 ram. I am running Windows XP so its only reading 3.2GIGs. More info incase it helps out.
